One third of HR professionals say that digital badges carry weight in the hiring process and for this reason the Google Cloud higher education team is launching a new set of monthly opportunities to kickstart your cloud learning: the Google Cloud Sprints for higher education.
Prepare for a cloud-first world
Through monthly sprints, students attending US colleges and universities get free 1 month access to hands-on labs along a quest to earn Google Cloud skill badges, while unlocking career development opportunities and swag raffles.
How to participate
- Sign up to the Google Cloud Sprints.
- Follow the instructions from your confirmation email to activate a free 1-month subscription.
- Earn any of the badges in the Sprint roadmap by the end of each month to access swag raffles and career development opportunities.
- Access hands-on walk-throughs by joining weekly Speaker Series events.
Earn badges to access special, invite-only opportunities & raffles
Throughout the month, you’ll be able to unlock opportunities based on your learning progress:
- Complete at least 1 skill badge quest to enter periodic swag raffles
- Complete 3 Skill Badges to join an invite-only Googler event at the end of each month.
- Complete 6 or more Skill Badges by October 30th for a special invitation to our November cloud industry springboard events, featuring Google Cloud, customers and partners.
